Membership Information
At present, the Alliance has two types of affliliations:
Full Membership - Members are entitled to serve on the board,
committees, and have full access to the resources of the Alliance. Insurance
companies actively doing business in South Dakota fall in this category. .
Associate Membership - A limited relationship is available for a
reduced fee. The category enjoys most of the benefits of full membership, but is
generally reserved for carriers not doing business in South Dakota, other insurance trade
associations, reinsurance companies or brokers, or non-insurance organizations, etc.
Either membership grants access to the Legislative Update, Legislative Committee
Minutes and Monthly Newsletter pages of the SDIA web site.
The annual Alliance dues are based on a flat fee schedule for insurance
companies (members) and for all other organizations (associate members):
