Services:
My area of expertise is in American
records including on-site research in
the Dakotas and Minnesota. I can and
will travel to other states at the
client's request. All local repository
holdings are checked, including LDS
(Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day
Saints) before any travel is planned.
Client authorization is also required
for travel. |
‡Fees:
For individuals research or consultation
is charged at an hourly rate of $35.00 with a four
hour minimum plus expenses. All
other clients contact me.
Project work includes analysis of
previous work done, written research
plan, actual research and analysis of
research findings, written report of
both positive and negative findings, and
future research recommendations.
The client will authorize a specific
block of time and/or financial limit for
the initial research and explain the
research goal. Travel is charged
at half the hourly fee plus the mileage
rate. Any overnight stays will
include
lodging and meals.
‡Expenses:
Out-of-pocket expenses are charged to
the client. They include but are not
limited to postage, microfilm rental
fees, repository research fees, parking,
my file copies, etc. Documentation of
all expenses is provided.
‡Terms:
Work will start once the deposit has
been received and you have provided me
with the details of your request in
writing plus copies of relevant past
research and supporting documents. If I
cannot begin immediately I will contact
you.
Balance of payment due must be paid
within 15 business days after a report
has been sent.
I retain copyright to the client report,
the manner in which the information is
expressed, and the right of use for
certification, articles, lectures,
instruction, and other accepted
genealogical purposes. |
